Second Life Community Convention - SLCC 2008

Volunteer Opportunities for the Education Track

SLEDcc - Tampa, Florida

September 5 - 7, 2008

The Second Life Education Community Conference relies on volunteers to do the hard work of creating a terrific conference experience! There will be many opportunities to participate both leading up to the conference, on the ground in Tampa, FL, or at the in-world activities in Second Life.

To thank volunteers for their efforts, we will treat all Tampa volunteers to a special meal and we hope to be able to offer a small honorarium to offset the costs of the conference and travel. This is, of course, dependent upon the amount of funds available after we cover basic costs for the facilities. A formal letter expressing our thanks will also be provided at the conclusion of the conference for your professional portfolio. We hope that the opportunity to collaborate, network, and get to know your colleagues in the SLED community will also be its own reward - we hope to have a lot of fun!

To volunteer for a position listed below, please contact
Veritas Variscan, SLEDcc Volunteer Coordinator, either by email or in Second Life.
